The Spinnaker Group is excited to announce the hiring of Samantha Dunne as our new Sustainability Project Manager!
As a sustainability professional in the built environment, she is dedicated to changing the way we think about design, building, and operating our developments. Samantha received her Master of Architectural Science in Sustainable Design from the University of Sydney in 2016, and use this education combined with her international industry experience to ensure projects achieve sustainability certifications and support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Samantha says that she truly believes that through education, creative thinking, smart solutions, and robust collaboration we CAN transform our world and mitigate the effects of climate change.
Samantha comes to us from Dallas, Texas where she worked as a Design & Performance Consultant for a start-up sustainable remodeling company. During her graduate program, she worked for a large Australian property developer as a sustainability intern on the Group Sustainability Strategy team. There, she had the opportunity to work on the internal project team as they pursued the first WELL Building Certification in Australia. Samantha also worked for the Green Building Council of Australia as a Professional Development Coordinator. Her experience includes WELL, Living Building Challenge, One Planet Living, and Green Star rating systems.
The Spinnaker Group welcomes Samantha to the team and looks forward to her being a part of our continued success!
